New SVP hire brings specialized Representations & Warranties expertise, deepening DUAL's underwriting capabilities for US clients navigating complex deal activity
DUAL North America (“DUAL”) today announced the appointment of Terry Enright as SVP, Representations & Warranties, further strengthening the company's global Transactional Risk platform and reinforcing its commitment to delivering specialised expertise and innovative solutions to clients and broker partners in the US market.
Transactional Risk is a fast-growing and increasingly strategic business line for DUAL, with rising demand driven by more complex transactions and evolving client needs.
Enright’s appointment follows DUAL Group’s recent announcement of its unified global Transactional Risk platform, backed by long-term, multi-year capacity led by Liberty. The platform brings together DUAL’s underwriting expertise across 11 jurisdictions in North America, LatAm, the UK, Europe and ANZ to deliver a more consistent, expert service to brokers and clients worldwide. In North America, DUAL Transactional Risk focuses on representations & warranties and tax liability insurance, supporting small to middle-market transactions.
With 20 years of experience in the R&W space, Enright joins at a pivotal time as DUAL continues to invest in building out dedicated underwriting leadership for its US Transactional Risk business. As SVP, Reps & Warranties, Enright will lead DUAL’s representations and warranties business, with responsibility for underwriting performance, strategy, broker engagement, and business development initiatives designed to support the growing needs of clients operating in an increasingly complex transactional environment.
The addition of Enright underscores DUAL’s commitment to attracting top industry talent and building a best-in-class Transactional Risk platform that delivers specialised expertise, responsive underwriting, and market-leading service.
Paul Smith, Group Head of Transactional Risk, said: "It's fantastic to welcome Terry to the business. As we continue to expand our North American team, his extensive experience, supported by the strength of our global platform, will further enhance the local insight and technical excellence that underpin our offering to broker partners and clients.
“Terry’s appointment reflects our commitment to investing in experienced talent, combining deep local market knowledge with global reach. It is central to our strategy and our ambition to build a sustainably profitable Transactional Risk portfolio, targeting £500m in gross written premium by 2030.

Connie Germano, Chief Casualty Officer, noted: " We are thrilled to welcome Terry to DUAL. As we build out our underwriting leadership for the future of our global Transactional Risk offering, Terry represents the first step in that journey for our US business. He brings exceptional experience, deep market knowledge, and strong relationships within the industry; exactly the caliber of leadership we're looking to add as we continue to grow this team. His arrival positions us well as we expand our capabilities and deliver even greater value to our clients and broker partners in the years ahead."
